Alexis Davis Returns, Meets Sara McMann At TUF 24 Finale

After an eighteen-month absence from MMA competition to give birth to a baby boy earlier this year, Alexis Davis will return to MMA competition taking on Sara McMann at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale.

Davis (17-6-0) has won four of five fights under the UFC banner, her only loss in the promotion came to former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 175. She's had quite the slate of victories, defeating Sarah Kaufman, Rosi Sexton, Liz Carmouche and Jessica Eye. Davis’s last bout before her pregnancy was a second round submission win over the aforementioned Sarah Kaufman at UFC 186. She was removed from the UFC rankings due to her inactivity.

The #7-ranked McMann (9-3-0) has won three of six in the UFC, defeating Sheila Gaff, Jessica Eye and Lauren Murphy, while suffering defeats to Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes. All three of McMann’s losses in the UFC is that they came to current or former women’s bantamweight champions. Prior to coming to the UFC in 2013, McMann defeated fellow UFC veteran Shayna Baszler by unanimous decision at Invicta Fighting Championships II.

UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale takes place on Saturday, December 3rd from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada with UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson and an opponent to be announced headlining.
