It is unknown yet on when McGregor may fight next, but that next bout could be for the UFC Welterweight Title.
Ali Abdelaziz, who is the manager for UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman, says McGregor could get the next title shot if BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal faces Nate Diaz again.
Abdelaziz made the proclamation via Twitter:
It looks like #1 contender wants to fight Nate Diaz now . Good for him @TheNotoriousMMA hey you want a title shot ? Come to daddy @USMAN84kg will give you one and he promise first 2 rounds without takedowns only slaps --

There has been no response yet from McGregor, while Usman hasn’t competed since defeating former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 245.
