Ali Abdelaziz Says Conor McGregor Could Fight For The Welterweight Title


Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor hasn’t competed since defeating Conor McGregor by first round TKO at UFC 246.

It is unknown yet on when McGregor may fight next, but that next bout could be for the UFC Welterweight Title.

Ali Abdelaziz, who is the manager for UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman, says McGregor could get the next title shot if BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal faces Nate Diaz again.

Abdelaziz made the proclamation via Twitter:


There has been no response yet from McGregor, while Usman hasn’t competed since defeating former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington in the main event of UFC 245.
