Amanda Lemos Replacing Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night: Scotland

Lina Lansberg has suffered an undisclosed injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night: Scotland, replacing her against Leslie Smith is going to be Amanda Lemos.

Smith (9-7-1) has rotated wins and losses throughout her UFC run, with her last fight being a decision win over Irene Aldana at UFC On Fox 22. Smith is actually undefeated on “Fight Night” cards, having defeated Jessamyn Duke at UFC Fight Night 45 and Rin Nakai at UFC Fight Night 85. Smith also competed six times in the Invicta FC promotion, where she holds a win over fellow UFC fighter Raquel Pennington.

Lemos (6-0-1) is going to be making her UFC debut in this fight and she’ll be returning to action after a year-plus layoff. Lemos also spent the majority of her career in the Jungle Fight promotion, where she defeated Debora Dias Nascimento, Carolina Cunha and Mayra Cantuaria Rodrigues. Lemos has only seen one of her professional MMA fights go the distance, which was a draw against Mayra Cantuaria Rodrigues at Jungle Fight 85.

UFC Fight Night: Scotland takes place on Sunday, July 16 from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland with Gunnar Nelson and Santiago Ponzinibbio in the main event. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
