Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm picked up a unanimous decision win over Invicta FC Featherweight Champion Megan Anderson at UFC 225.
Holm would admit in a post-fight interview that she is willing to drop back down to bantamweight to face the current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion in Amanda Nunes.
Nunes seems open to the idea and she posted the following on Twitter:
Let’s do it @HollyHolm— Amanda Nunes (@Amanda_Leoa) June 10, 2018
Another champion to throw a name in the hat is UFC Women’s Featherweight Champ Cyborg, who stated that she would be willing to face the winning of the potential Nunes/Holm bout in a super fight.
Cyborg made those feelings known via Twitter:
The combination of Holm and Cyborg have fought before, with Cyborg picking up a decision win over Holm in the main event of UFC 219. Nunes and Cyborg have been linked together for a super fight before, but nothing was able to be signed at the time.
