Imani Smith may be an amateur MMA fighter, but he has also been accused of repeatedly flashing people at the Landstown Commons Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, VA according to a report from WFMY News 2.
The amateur fighter has since claimed innocence in an interview with WTKR, but police apparently have multiple witnesses and the license plate of the getaway car matches that of his girlfriend?s vehicle. Smith would also flash people after asking them for directions while driving a car, an exact number of people who say his business is unknown.
Smith has a 6-8-0 record as an amateur fighter, competing in such promotions as Spartyka Fight League, Modern Gladiators Fighting Championship and Fire & Ice Fighting Championships. Smith is also the current American Fight League Welterweight Champion, it is unknown at this time when the fighter won the title.
Police have been searching for Smith for quite some time now, even dubbing the amateur fighter the ?Landstown Flasher.?
If Smith is convicted of the crimes, it could mean up to 12 months in jail and a fine of $2,500, plus Smith would be added to the state?s sex offender registry. Smith is currently out on $5,000 bail and his next court appearance is scheduled for August.
