Andre Fili was seen in action this past weekend at UFC Fight Night Phoenix, defeating Myles Jury by decision.
The featherweight contender may be looking at some opportunities outside of the Octagon, which includes a Hell In A Cell Match with retired wrestling great “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
“You know what I’m looking for?” Fili said after the event (via MMA Junkie). “I’m looking for ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin to come out of retirement, loser leaves town, hell in a cell. ‘Touchy’ 3:16.”
Austin, who is a multiple time WWE Champion and WWE Hall OF Fame member, has yet to respond to the challenge from the UFC star, but a potential fight would mark Austin's MMA debut.
Fili also isn’t staying in his lane when it comes to UFC competition either, as the featherweight has also challenged some UFC heavyweights to due battle.
“You give me three months and some pizza, I’ll rack up to about ’95, 200,” Fili said. “Where you at Stone Cold? After that, Ngannou, Lesnar. I might fight super heavyweight.”
Although Fili is clearly joking about challenging the heavyweight elite, it would require the fighter to gain a massive amount of poundage just to make the heavyweight weight limit.
