Andrei Arlovski On MMA Loss To Anthony Johnson: I’m The Winner Anyway. He’s Dead, I’m Alive

In 2013, Anthony Johnson defeated Andrei Arlovski by unanimous decision at World Series of Fighting 2.

Arlovski was knocked down at the end of the first round, but he was saved by the bell. When the referee jumped in, Johnson thought he had won the fight, but it was just the end of round bell.

Arlovski’s jaw was broken in the first round, but he fought for ten more minutes, coming back to win one round.

Johnson passed away in November 2022 due to organ failure.

Speaking to David Guttman, Arlovski said that he believes he won the fight. “Unfortunately, the judges gave him the victory. I’m the winner anyway. He’s dead. I’m alive.”
