Andrew & Jason Moloney Travel To Las Vegas, Xander Zayas Graduates | Fight-Size Boxing Update

Here’s your fight-size boxing update for May 19, 2020:

- WBA “Regular” super flyweight champion Andrew Moloney and bantamweight contender Jason Moloney managed to book flights from Australia to Las Vegas as Top Rank is preparing to book events in the coming weeks. Both Moloneys were originally supposed to fight in separate Top Rank Boxing shows in April. There is no official word on when each of them will fight.

- Unbeaten teenage prospect Xander Zayas had his high school graduation recently. Congratulations to Zayas.

- Undefeated Chilean featherweight prospect Junior Cruzat and current OPBF Silver super middleweight titleholder Mose Auimatagi have signed managerial deals with Australian Tony Tolj of Dragon Fire Boxing.

- Top Rank posted the entire match between Juan Manuel Marquez and Mike Alvarado from 2014.

- According to a report from Puerto Rican newspaper Primera Hora, Jonathan Oquendo is in talks to possibly face WBO super featherweight champion Jamel Herring on July 2.

- Walter Matthysse Jr., son of former boxer Walter Matthysse and former secondary welterweight titlist Lucas Matthysse, has signed a co-promotional deal with Tello Box and Sampson Boxing.

- Top Rank announced these fights will air on ESPN2 on May 20 at 7 PM ET:

  • Oscar De La Hoya vs. Felix Trinidad (7 PM)
  • Oscar De La Hoya vs. Shane Mosley II (8 PM)
  • Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Márquez III (9 PM)
  • Marvin Hagler vs. Sugar Ray Leonard (10 PM)
  • Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Jose Luis Castillo I (11 PM)
