A featherweight division affair is a late addition to the UFC On Fox 27 card as Austin Arnett faces Cory Sandhagen, MMA Today first reported the contest.
Arnett (15-3-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight, but the fighter is coming off of a loss to Brandon Davis on Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 4. Arnett also competed in the Titan Fighting Championships promotion, defeating Dave Burrow by decision at Titan FC 37. Arnett also won five of six fights as an amateur and none of those bouts went to the judge?s scorecards.
Sandhagen (6-1-0) is also making his UFC debut in the fight, but he is a veteran of the Legacy Fighting Alliance promotion. Sandhagen is also a veteran of the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, where he defeated the duo of Andrew Tenneson and Clay Wimer.
UFC On Fox 27 takes place on Saturday, January 27 from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina with Ronaldo Souza and Derek Brunson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
