Austin Vanderford and Daniel Madrid were expected to face each other this weekend at Bellator 246, but Vanderford was pulled from the card and replaced by Pat Casey.
The fighter has now taken to Instagram to reveal that he was pulled from the card due to a second positive COVID-19 test:
There is no word at this time as to when Vanderford will make his return to the Bellator cage.
Bellator 246 takes place on Saturday, September 12 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Juan Archuleta and Patrick Mix headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
