In what is easily the longest running MMA news formatted talk show, Inside MMA, will be airing its 433rd and final episode ever next Friday Night.
The show will be hosted by longtime MMA veteran Bas Rutten, Ron Kruck and WWE personality Mauro Ranallo will be joined by formed host Kenny Rice to looks back at the greatest moments from the show and to talk about their favorite memories from being a part of the show as well.
The main reason behind the show’s abrupt cancellation is due to the added amount of live MMA events coming to AXS TV, which should be kicking into high gear in early 2017.
AXS TV Founder and CEO Mark Cuban talked about how much the show has impacted mainstream MMA and how important it has been to the sport.
“‘Inside MMA’ blazed the trail for mainstream media’s acceptance of MMA,” Mark Cuban stated. “Bas, Kenny and Ron were there from the start, introducing the sport and its stars to a national television audience when other networks and newspapers were too afraid and out of touch to recognize its appeal.”
The current live events schedule for AXS TV in 2017 has a grand total of forty-five events airing live already, which means that there will only be a grand total of seven Friday Nights in 2017 where AXS TV will not be airing a live event, Lion Fights will also be a part of the schedule as well.
Inside MMA has been a part of the MMA world for nearly a decade now, in fact, AXS TV was called HD Net when the show first aired, this Friday Night will be the last time we will see the MMA staple forever.
