The vacant CES MMA Bantamweight Title will get a new owner at CES MMA 50 as Dinis Paiva is going to be in action against Andre Ewell in the main event.
Paiva (11-6-0) enters the contest on the strength of a four fight winning streak, with his last win coming over Kevin Barberena at CES MMA 48. Paiva has spent his entire professional MMA career competing in the CES MMA promotion, with that career beginning in June of 2011. Paiva has suffered a total of six losses as a professional MMA fighter, with no defeats coming by way of KO/TKO.
Ewell (12-4-0) is going to be making his CES MMA debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Ewell is actually undefeated against UFC veterans, having defeated Willie Gates by third round submission at King of The Cage: Never Quit in 2017. Ewell fought a total of seven times last year, winning five of those seven encounters, with three of those wins coming by way of submission.
CES MMA 50 takes place on Friday, June 15 from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island with Dinis Paiva and Andre Ewell headlining. Fightful will provide quick results of the event when its over, while it also airs live on AXS TV.
