A bantamweight division attraction is going to be headlining the Legacy Fighting Alliance 52 card as Ray Rodriguez is in action against Chris Gutierrez.
Rodriguez (13-4-0) is currently undefeated under the LFA banner, having defeated Rivaldo Junior by split decision at LFA 6. Rodriguez also enters the contest while riding an eight fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years. Rodriguez has previously challenged for the Hero FC Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion DJ Fuentes at Hero FC: Best Of The Best 4 in January 2015.
Gutierrez (11-3-1) is also undefeated in LFA competition, having defeated Mario Israel by split decision at LFA 22 in September of 2017. Gutierrez also competed in Bellator MMA, defeating Justin McNally by first round TKO at Bellator 111. Gutierrez has also competed twice in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Timur Valiev and suffering a defeat to Timur Valiev in a rematch at the WSOF 33.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 52 is taking place on Friday, October 19 from the Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas with Ray Rodriguez and Chris Gutierrez headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on AXS TV.
