MMA

Gegard Mousasi dispatched of Douglas Lima at Bellator 250, but it was not pretty.

Mousasi earned his second Bellator middleweight title after earning a unanimous decision against current welterweight champion Lima. Take a look below at what highlights the promotion could muster.

UFC 300 Weigh Ins

Gegard Mousasi def. Douglas Lima by unanimous decision (48-47, 49-46, 49-46) for vacant Bellator middleweight title

Mousasi outworked Lima in an absolute snoozer to become a two-time Bellator middleweight champion. The opening round was entertaining enough as Mousasi dragged these to the ground and walloped on Lima. The remainder of the fight, however, was littered with tenative striking and grappling exchanges that went next to nowhere. Lima did wear down Mousasi's leg over time, but it was not enough for the three judges cageside.

Henry Corrales def. Brandon Girtz by split decision (30-27, 27-30, 30-27)

Corrales handedly won a bonkers split decision in which one judge scored all three rounds for Girtz. Corrales landed the harder, more impactful shots and also led in total strikes by a noticeable margin.

Dalton Rosta def. Ty Gwerder by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

It was a one-sided fight for Rosta who swept Gwerder on all three judges scorecards. "Hercules" improved his professional record to 4-0. All four wins are under the Bellator banner.
