Bellator's Corey Anderson Praises Promotion: "UFC Gave Me The Career, Bellator Gave Me The Life"

Bellator light heavyweight contender Corey Anderson praised the promotion for the way it's treated him thus far financially.

Anderson who signed with the company back in August 2020 tweeted out the following statement about what Bellator has given him in his short run with them and how it compared to his time competing with the UFC.

The Rockford, Illinois native was The Ultimate Fighter 19 Light Heavyweight winner and went 10-5 in his 15 Octagon appearances, holding victories over current UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz and current number one contender Glover Teixeira who will meet at UFC 266 later this year. Anderson is 2-0 with Bellator currently and is coming off of a dominant third-round TKO win over Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov in the opening round of the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix at Bellator 257. He now will meet Bellator heavyweight champion and fellow The Ultimate Fighter winner Ryan Bader in the semi-finals of the tournament.
