One Championships Welterweight Champion Ben Askren will headline the One Championships 60 card as he defends the gold against Zebaztian Kadestam.
Askren (16-0-0-1NC) is going to be making the third defense of his championship, previously defending it against Luis Santos and Agilan Thani. Askren is also a former Bellator MMAWelterweight Champion, but was stripped of the gold when he left the promotion in late 2013. Askren has only seen just one of his five fights in One Championships go the distance and that came against Nikolay Aleksakhin at One Championships 41 in April of 2016.
Kadestam (9-3-0) is currently undefeated under the One Championships banner, defeating Luis Santos by knockout earlier this year. Kadestam is also a longtime veteran of the Pacific Xtreme Combat promotion, winning all six of his fights there on route to becoming the promotions welterweight champion. Kadestam also holds a win over UFC veteran Ronald Jhun, that win took place at PXC 35 in 2013.
One Championships 60 takes place on Saturday, September 2 from the Shanghai Oriental Sports Complex in Shanghai, China with Ben Askren and Zebaztian Kadestam headlining. Fightful will provide quick results of the event once it is complete, the event streams live on Flo Combat.
