Former One Championship and Bellator Welterweight Champion Ben Askren makes his UFC debut at UFC 235, facing former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler.

Reports started surfacing that UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley is defending the gold against Kamaru Usman in the co-main event of UFC 235.

Those reports would tick off UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington, which expected to be next in line for Woodley. Covington, in interviews with Fightful and other media outlets, would blast the UFC and UFC President Dana White.

Askren, who has had issues with the UFC and White in the past, would take to Twitter to rip Covington for trusting the UFC and White in the first place:

Covington has yet to respond to the latest comments from Askren, but those two have gone back and forth with each other in the past as well.

UFC 235 takes place on Saturday, March 2 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Anthony Smith reportedly headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
