Lopez (8-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over three years. Lopez earned a contract to the promotion when he defeated Steven Peterson by split decision at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 7. Lopez made his professional MMA debut at Bellator 115 in April 2014, defeating Oscar Ramirez by unanimous decision.

Morales (7-2-1) has won just one of his four fights under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Andre Soukhamthath at UFC 209. Morales competed once in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Anthony Paredes by decision at the WSOF 28. Morales also went undefeated during a two fight stint in Bellator MMA, defeating both John Yoo and Fabian Gonzalez.

UFC Fight Night Fresno takes place on Saturday, December 9 from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California with Cub Swanson and Brian Ortega headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
