Bobby Lashley Challenges Brock Lesnar To MMA Fight

Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar had often been talked about in pro wrestling and MMA circles, but Lashley is looking to make it happen.

The 40-year old TNA Wrestling talent Lashley improved to 15-2 in his MMA career last Friday at Bellator 162 with a dominant victory over Josh Appelt. Lashley said he has his sights set on the Bellator title, but told TMZ Sports he'd also like to fight WWE Superstar and former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar.

"I think it'd be really interesting. I get asked that almost every day. I think there's a lot of money into that. It'd be a slugfest. Brock's not going to get taken down by easy takedowns. I scramble really well, he has little size on me, it'd be hard to him to take me down. It'd be a fun fight to have," said Lashley.

When asked about how he thinks the fight would end up. The "Dominator" said he generally takes fights he knows he'll win anyway.

"I get into fights where I know that my hand is going to get raised, and that's one that I feel confident on," Lashley said. "But if you asked (Brock Lesnar) the same thing, he's not going to go, 'oh, Bobby is going to win.' And I'm not going to go, 'oh Brock would win.' So of course I see my hand being raised anytime when I fight."

Lesnar is currently awaiting a hearing from the Nevada Athletic Commission in relation to mulitple failed drug tests for clomiphene surrounding his UFC 200 win over Mark Hunt. We reported earlier this month that Brock Lesnar asked that eye medication and foot cream both be tested for the substance.
