UFC veteran Boston Salmon picked up a victory at Legacy Fighting Alliance 84, but it didn?t come the way that the fighter would?ve liked it.
That?s because Salmon picked up a disqualification win after opponent Shawn West nailed him with an illegal knee strike to the side of the head in the second round of their bout.
Salmon didn?t just get the win at LFA 84, but also suffered a broken orbital bone and a broken cheek bone due to the illegal strike.
Sucker Punch Entertainment, who represents Salmon, posted the following on Instagram about Salmon?s health and demanding that disciplinary action be taken by the athletic commission in Iowa:
