A lightweight division fight between Alex Volkanovski and Michael Quinones has been pulled from this Sunday Night’s UFC Fight Night 105 card.
Quinones apparently suffered an injury late last week and UFC officials were unable to secure a new opponent for Volkanovski in a suitable amount of time.
Volkanovski posted the following on his Facebook:
The fight between Volkanovski and Quinones was expected to be a part of the preliminary card, the event will now go on with 11 fights in total.
UFC Fight Night 105 takes place on Sunday, February 19 from the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with Derrick Lewis and Travis Browne headlining. Fightful will have live coverage of the event and a post-fight podcast as well.
