A middleweight division affair is going to be headlining the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale as #10 Brad Tavares faces Israel Adesanya.
Tavares (17-4-0) is going to be headlining a UFC card for the first time in his UFC career, which has now lasted almost eight years. Tavares also enters the contest riding a four fight winning streak, last defeated Krzysztof Jotko by third round TKO at UFC On Fox 29. Tavares has earned more than half of his professional MMA wins by decision, while half of the fighters losses have come by way of decision.
Adesanya (13-0-0) is also headlining his first UFC card and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost six years. Adesanya has already picked up two victories under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Marvin Vettori and Rob Wilkinson. Adesanya has seen just one of his thirteen professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against the aforementioned Vettori at UFC on Fox 29.
UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale takes place on Friday, July 6 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Robert Whittaker and Israel Adesanya headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
