The Brave CF promotion is going to be crowning their first flyweight champion this year and will do so with a four man tournament, which will take place across two events.

Everything kicks off on March 28 when UFC veteran Jose Torres faces UFC veteran Matheus Nicolau and Malcolm Gordon faces Marcel Adur. The winner will meet at a future event, but a date and location for the unannounced event aren’t known at this time.

Torres (9-1-0) won two championships during his time in Titan FC, as he was the promotions flyweight and bantamweight title holder. Nicolau (15-2-1) won three of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Bruno Rodrigues Mesquita, John Moraga and Louis Smolka.

Gordon (12-3-0) has competed a total of fifteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance. Adur (15-5-0) has previously challenged for the Brave CF Bantamweight Title, losing to Velimurad Alkhasov at Brave CF 19.

Brave CF 35 takes place on Saturday, March 28 from a location to be announced with Cleiton Silva and Guram Kutateladze headlining.
