A welterweight division attraction is going to be headlining the upcoming Cage Warriors 87 card as Lewis Long is in action against Roberto Soldic.
Long (15-4-0) will enter the fight on the strength of a three fight winning streak, which includes a win over UFC veteran Che Mills at Cage Warriors 83. Long hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over a year, with his last loss coming to Andreas Stahl at Cage Warriors 76. Long also hasn’t seen one of his fights go the distance in over four years, with Cage Warriors 54 in May of 2013 being the last time one of his fights went all three rounds.
Soldic (11-2-0) is going to be making his Cage Warriors debut in this bout and he does so while riding a five fight winning streak. Soldic is going to be fighting for the fourth time in 2017 and that has been the average amount of times he has fought in the last three years. Soldic last suffered a defeat well over a year ago at Tech-Krep FC Prime Selection 8 and that loss came to Yaroslav Amosov.
