The Can't Miss Matches Of UFC London

MMA

UFC Fight Night 127 is just around the corner as it rolls into London for it?s annual visit. The event will take place at the 02 in the capital and there are some great fights set to take place on the night. It?s not just the main event that fans are talking about as the undercard boasts a lot of British talent, which will certainly entertain spectators whether they are at the event or watching the live stream elsewhere.

The main event sees 40-year-old Fabricio Werdum take on Alexander Volkov in what is his second time headlining a UFC event since November last year. Werdum returned to the UFC for a second spell in 2012 and since then he currently holds a record of 9 victories with only 2 defeats.

His opponent Alexander Volkov is currently on a three-fight winning streak in the UFC and since leaving Bellator he has gone 5-0. He?s a force to be reckoned with as 22 of his career wins have come via a stoppage and while Werdum is seen by many as the favourite you simply can?t write Volkov off. However, Werdum fans will be confident as licensed betting sites like Unibet have Werdum 11/25 whilst Volkov is 33/20 to win the match.

Another great fight on the night which is being billed as the co-main event is the battle between Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz. Manuwa is a very impressive MMA fighter who currently holds a record of 6 wins and 3 defeats in the UFC. 5 of his 6 UFC victories have come via stoppage however in all 3 of his defeats he has been knocked out himself.

Manuwa is taking on Jan Blachowicz in what is a rematch of the fight which took place back at UFC Fight Night 64 just under 12 months ago. Manuwa won that fight by unanimous decision and Blachowicz is looking to set the record straight this time around. He currently holds a UFC record of 4 wins and 4 defeats and has the capability of stopping the fight with a vicious body kick as Ilir Latifi found out at UFC Fight Night 53.

Elsewhere at UFC Fight Night 127 we?ll see France?s Tom Duquesnoy take on the USA?s Terrion Ware. This will certainly be another fight which catches the eye especially as both fighters come into the bout on the back of a defeat. It will be interesting to see how they respond to their recent disappointments.

It should certainly be a very close fight, and this will add to the intensity and the excitement. Duquesnoy struggled last time out due to not having a reach advantage over his opponent but this time he has that, and this could see him gain the edge. Both men will have a game plan but with it being such a tense affair nobody can afford to slip up. You can certainly see this one going the distance, however Duquesnoy is the 2/7 odds on favorite at Unibet to come out on top in this particular encounter.
