Card Set For Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series: Episode 3

The third card for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series is set, and  features Ryan Spann facing Karl Roberson in a light heavyweight division encounter for the main event.

Spann (10-4-0) has won just one of his last three fights, defeating Roman Pizzolato, while suffering defeats to Trevin Giles and UFC veteran Robert Drysdale. Spann has previously challenged for the Legacy Fighting Championships Middleweight Title, losing to Leonardo Leite at LFC 48. Spannhas also competed in the Legacy Fighting Alliance, losing to the aforementioned Trevin Giles at LFA 3.

Roberson (4-0-0) is currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that undefeated streak has lasted over two years. Roberson has competed twice in the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion, defeating the duo of Michael Wilcox and Derrick Brown. Roberson has seen three of his four fights as a pro end in the first round and only one of his fights as a pro went the distance.

Other fights on the card include Jason Jackson versus Kyle Stewart, Gabriel Checco versus Chase Waldon, UFC veteran Daniel Jolly versus Alonzo Menifield and Dan Ige versus Luis Gomez.

Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series takes place on Tuesday, July 25 from the TUF Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada with Ryan Spann and Karl Roberson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
