Cat Zingano Says A Cyborg Fight Is A Winnable One

Cat Zingano has been campaigning for a fight with the UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion in Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.

One of the biggest reasons that Zingano wants the fight is because she feels a bout with Cyborg is a winnable one.

“With ‘Cyborg,’ this is a winnable fight for me. When I’m healthy, none of these girls (can) deal with me, not one, so that’s what I’m looking for. Going into a fight with ‘Cyborg,’ you need to be as on point as possible. She’s got her advantages – whatever, arguably fair or unfair – and I just know that If I’m at 100 percent, she probably can’t even touch me, and those are things that are in consideration when trying to achieve my goal,” Zingano said on The MMA Hour.

Zingano and Cyborg have been going back and forth through social media as of late, a situation that lead to Cyborg blocking Zingano on Twitter.

Cyborg just won the belt at UFC 214, when she defeated former Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion Tonya Evinger by TKO.

Another cog in the machine is former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm, whom Cyborg has expressed an interest in fighting next.

Whether it comes against Cyborg or another fighter, it would be the first time that Zingano has competed since UFC 200.
