Charles Martin To Fight On Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia FS1 Prelims

Another former world champion is set to fight on the Errol Spence Jr. vs. Mikey Garcia card next month, but it will be on the prelim portion of the event.

PBC announced that former Charles Martin will fight on prelim card for the March 16 pay-per-view from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Martin will face Gregory Corbin on the FS1 portion of the card. The prelim card will start at 8 p.m. ET with the pay-per-view card scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET.

The Most Popular Prop Bets Placed During MMA Matches

Martin once held the IBF heavyweight title in 2016, but lost the belt to Anthony Joshua later that year, ending one of the shortest IBF world heavyweight reigns in history. Since losing his title, Martin has won two of his last three fights with his last bout being a narrow decision loss to Adam Kownacki last September. Martin is currently ranked No. 14 by the WBC at heavyweight.

Corbin is a 38-year-old fighter from Dallas who made his pro debut in 2012. Corbin is undefeated as a boxer, winning 15 fights and one of them resulting in a no contest, but the match-up against Martin will be a major step up in competition for Corbin.

As for the pay-per-view card itself, the event will feature a total of four bouts. The entire card will be headlined by the IBF welterweight title bout between Spence and Garcia. The co-main event will be a super middleweight bout between David Benavidez and J'Leon Love while former bantamweight champion Luis Nery and former heavyweight title challenger Chris Arreola are competing in separate bouts.
