CM Punk's second fight has been confirmed by Dana White
It has been rumored for weeks that CM Punk would be facing Mike Jackson at UFC 225 in CM Punk's hometown of Chicago. He last fought in his debut and first loss to Mickey Gall. Now, UFC President Dana White confirmed to TMZ Sports that CM Punk will be facing Mike Jackson at UFC 225.
In the interview, White was directly asked about the fight and he said the interviewer already knew the answers but confirmed "that is the fight." Previously CM Punk had tweeted about the June 9th card.
Both Punk and Jackson have one professional fight and each lost their debut to Mickey Gall. Mike Jackson has also worked as member of the mixed-martial-arts media.
UFC 225 already features a Middleweight Championship fight between Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero, Strawweight fight between Claudia Gadelha and Carla Esparza, and a Flyweight bout with Joseph Benavidez and Sergio Pettis. CM Punk trains with Pettis at Roufusport.
