It has been a while since we have had a Colby Covington fight week and now that it is back it feels as familiar as ever. Covington has already started his pre-fight antics as he has denied that Kamaru Usman never broke his jaw in their first fight.
Here is what Covington had to say regarding the reported jaw break.
Covington gave props to Usman for landing a good shot on him but went on to claim that although the shot was good it 'definitely didn't' break his jaw.
This comment from Covington has sparked a lot of confusion in the MMA community as between one of the rounds in his first fight against Usman, Covington can be heard in his corner saying 'he broke my jaw.'
It is not that surprising that Covington has started his pre-fight antics and trash talk as that is what he excels at. No doubt there will be much more from Covington during fight week.
