Combate Americas Holding First Live Card On AXS TV This December

Combate Americas will hold their first live event on AXS TV in just a few weeks on December 13, with a main event pitting UFC veteran Horacio Gutierrez and Marlon Gonzales. 

MMA Junkie reported the news, it is unknown at this time as to how many bouts will air live on AXS TV.

Gutierrez (6-3-0) is undefeated under the Combate Americas banner, having defeated the duo of Chris Avila and Chase Gibson. Gutierrez went winless during his two fight stint in the UFC, dropping bouts to Enrique Barzola and Teruto Ishihara. Gutierrez has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and four came by way of KO/TKO. 

Gonzales (15-3-2-1NC) is also undefeated in Combate Americas competition, having defeated Pablo Villaseca by split decision in May of this year. Gonzales comes into the bout while riding a three fight winning streak and he hasn’t been defeated in over two years. Gonzales has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and two of them came by way of decision.

Combate Americas: Gutierrez vs. Gonzales takes place on Friday, December 13 from the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California with Horacio Gutierrez and Marlon Gonzales headlining.
