Connor Coyle To Headline UFC Fight Pass Boxing Card On April 25

Connor Coyle will return to UFC Fight Pass for his next fight, but this time, he will be competing in the main event.

Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions announced that Coyle will face Robert Burwell in an eight-round bout on April 25 at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas. The fight headlines the latest RJJBP card to be streamed on UFC Fight Pass.

This will be Coyle's second fight this year with the first one taking place in the co-main event of a UFC Fight Pass card in Florida back in February. On that fight, Coyle won a wide unanimous decision against Travis Scott in an eight-round bout. A month later, it was announced that Coyle signed a promotional deal with Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions, the first Irish fighter to sign with the promotion.

Burwell sports an 8-2 record as a pro since making his pro debut back in 2012. Burwell has won his last two fights since losing two straight against Nathaniel Gallimore and Kenneth McNeil. Burwell has only fought once each year since 2015.

The UFC Fight Pass undercard was also announced with all fights being eight rounds. Former WBC Youth World middleweight titleholder and undefeated prospect Mekhrubon Sanginov will fight in the co-main event against an opponent to be determined at a later date. Also on the Fight Pass undercard are lightweight Antonio Williams and welterweight Jerrico Walton, both unbeaten prospects, competing in separate fights against opponents also to be announced at a later date.
