UFC Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor is a giant public figure in the world of MMA, and he's looking to be outside of it as well.
McGregor’s longtime coach, John Kavanagh recently spoke with The Irish Independent when he relayed a story about the time the UFC Featherweight Champion met and then danced with pop superstar Jennifer Lopez.
“We go in and J-Lo catches his eye and comes running over like a schoolgirl: 'Oh! Conor McGregor! Thank you for coming. Let’s dance!' She drags him to the dancefloor and they start dancing and I’m like: ‘Oh, here we go, just another crazy story.’ Ronaldo is there. He comes over, tells me that he reads everything (I write) and follows me on Instagram. I’m thinking: ‘Wait until I tell my dad about this,'” said Kavanagh.
McGregor, much like a Ronda Rousey, is a huge crossover star from the world of MMA, and apparently, J-Lo is a huge fan of the MMA sensation.
McGregor has dabbled in the entertainment realm outside of MMA as well, as he will be appearing in the next Call Of Duty video game and he was set to appear in the upcoming XXX: Return Of Xander Cage film before he pulled out so he could train for a rematch with Nate Diaz, which he won at UFC 202.
