Conor McGregor Says He Called The TJ Dillashaw Situation Way Back

MMA

TJ Dillashaw recently made the decision to relinquish the UFC Bantamweight Title after adverse findings were discovered in a drug test that was in line with UFC Fight Night Brooklyn.

A lot of fighters and MMA personalities have already chimed in on the mess surrounding Dillashaw, but now former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor has shared his two cents as well.

McGregor has taken to Twitter to say that he called the situation surrounding Dillashaw awhile back.

What McGregor may be referring to in the tweet is that during his time coaching the UFC Ultimate Fighter opposite of Urijah Faber, a comment was made by McGregor calling Dillashaw a “snake in the grass.” That term became much more popular later on when Dillashaw had a nasty split with Faber and Team Alpha Male.

The New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) has already suspended Dillashaw for one year and fined the former champion as well. Dillashaw is also expected to get penalized by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) as well, but nothing has been announced at this time.
