Conor McGregor is the current UFC Featherweight Champion and if he can get by Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, he will also be the UFC Lightweight Champion, landing him a place in sports history as the first person to hold titles in two weight divisions simultaneously in the UFC.

However, despite that potential, Conor also feels a win at UFC 205 is going to make himself “immortal.”

"Saturday night I’ll be immortal," he said to MMA Fighting. "I get the second belt, raise it up, [it's] never been done before. It means absolutely everything to me. It’s my life’s work. We’re ready."

McGregor sees a bevy of opportunities and holes in his opponent's game that he looks to exploit.

"I feel I can do it many ways," he said. "I can paint a picture inside that Octagon. All you need to do is look at my previous fights. They’re all different."

UFC 205 takes place on Saturday, November 12 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Eddie Alvarez and Conor McGregor headlining.
