MMA

Conor McGregor has been involved in heavy rumors of a potential boxing fight with Floyd Mayweather, but the UFC Lightweight Champion says one way or another, his next fight will be announced soon.

Since winning the UFC Lightweight Championship, McGregor has been away from The Octagon but not the spotlight. He has been publicly negotiating with UFC and Floyd Mayweather in order to get the biggest fight possible. Recently UFC President Dana White said he feels like he has to make the McGregor and Mayweather fight happen, the fight would be a boxing match which a Nevada Athletic Commission executive called "approvable." White said he would be meeting with McGregor after McGregor's child is born. On his Instagram, McGregor reposted a video from the Instagram for Conor McGregor's Fast, a digital fitness platform owned by McGregor. The video was an advertisement for the launch of the service but in the repost McGregor said he was preparing for a fight announcement.
