Conor McGregor Teases Fight With Tenshin Nasukawa, Who Responds

Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor was last seen in action in the main event of UFC 232, suffering a fourth round submission loss to UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Floyd Mayweather, who defeated Conor McGregor over two years ago in what was dubbed “The Money Fight,” recently defeated Tenshin Nasukawa in an boxing exhibition at Rizin 14.

McGregor, never one to miss an opportunity, would take to Twitter to challenge Nasukawa to a fight:

There has been no response yet from either Rizin or the UFC on the challenge made from the former two division UFC champion, but Nasukawa did respond with the following on Twitter:

Even if the bout does come to fruition, it could be awhile before it happens anyway because McGregor and Nurmagomedov are both awaiting punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for their roles in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl. The NSAC is supposed to decide their fates later this month, it is unclear as to exactly what kind of punishments both fighters may be facing.
