Corey Anderson Suffers Horrific Facial Injuries After Latest Fight, Blames Athletic Commission

Corey Anderson last stepped into the Octagon in the main event of UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho, suffering a first round knockout loss to Jan Blachowicz.

The knockout wasn?t the only thing that affected Anderson?s well being, because an incident in which Anderson fell face first on a gravel road after blacking out a short time after the fight proved to be damaging.

Anderson, who has now been cleared to compete again, posted the following on Instagram, stating that the athletic commission in New Mexico failed to do their job, which may have led to his injuries:

 

There is no word yet on when Anderson, despite being cleared to compete, will actually fight again.
