Neil Magny was left without an opponent for UFC Fight Night Liverpool after Gunnar Nelson was pulled from the card due to injury, but now Craig White has agreed to step up on short notice and fight Magny.

Magny (20-6-0) has rotated wins and losses in his previous five UFC bouts, with his last bout being a win over former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit at UFC 219. Magny has suffered a total of five defeats under the UFC banner, with four of those losses coming by KO/TKO and submission. Magny is coming off of his least active year since coming to the UFC in 2013, as the welterweight fought just twice in 2017.

White (14-7-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so on the strength of a four bout winning streak. White has seen just one of his professional MMA bouts go the distance, which was a loss to Leon Edwards at Strength & Honour 14 in November 2012. White was originally set to compete at Cage Warriors 95 before the UFC call up, an opponent had not been announced for him at the time.

UFC Fight Night Liverpool takes place on Sunday, May 27 from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England with Darren Till and Stephen Thompson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
