Crowd Fight Distracted King Mo At Bellator 175

King Mo was able to get a measure of revenge against Rampage Jackson at Bellator 175, defeating the fighter by unanimous decision.

Mo was visibly distracted during the fight, and that was due to a fight in the crowd between fans.

“When we were against the cage, a fight broke out and I saw the crowd stand up, looking to the left,” Mo said on The MMA Hour. “And I was trying to look at the fight. I don't know what was wrong with me.”

The fight was broken up quickly, but it distracted Mo just long enough for Rampage to rock him with a few strikes.

Although he was rocked a few times by Rampage, the victorious Mo didn't expect Rampage to back up so much in their fight.

“I figured that he was gonna be that anyway,” Lawal said. “I thought that maybe he thought if he was bigger he would try to muscle me, or something. I have no idea. I was expecting a different Quinton Jackson, to come forward. But to see him go backward, the lower stance threw me off.”

After the victorious effort over Rampage, the fighter will be returning to the light heavyweight division to face Ryan Bader at Bellator 180.
