Cyborg became the second ever UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion when she defeated Tonya Evinger at UFC 214.
The female featherweight queen believes that potential future opponents Holly Holm and Cat Zingano should’ve fought her when she was struggling to make weight at 140 pounds.
Cyborg made these statements on her Twitter account.
I asked for both to replace @MeganA_mma when she pulled out after making such a capaign for the fight and was told they both declined— #andstill #UFC214 (@criscyborg) July 31, 2017
They should have fought me at 140. I'm the best I've ever been in my career with my return to 145 and am ready for either next.— #andstill #UFC214 (@criscyborg) July 31, 2017
UFC President Dana White said Holm was interested in becoming the first person for Cyborg to defend her belt against, but nothing has been made official at this time.
As for Zingano, the former women’s bantamweight title challenger issued a few statements of her own through Twitter:
She's spitting blood at a shark. @ufc— Alpha Cat Zingano (@CatZingano) August 1, 2017
