Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is going to be facing Tonya Evinger for the vacant UFC Women’s Featherweight Title at UFC 214.

Cyborg and UFC President Dana White have had a contentious relationship in the past, but Cyborg has forgiven the UFC President and is looking forward to a new relationship with him.

“It’s really nice when someone does a mistake and then say that,” Cyborg said at UFC 214 open workouts. “A lot of people never say anything. I respect that. I think I can forgive him, but there’s a lot of consequences. There are a lot of things people say about me on the Internet, a lot of bad things I don’t want to remember now. But it’s hard to clean everything. But in time it’s going to change. He says he wants to change and work together. Let’s see. I’ll give it a chance and see how it’s going to work. I forgive him, but I think there’s a lot of consequences that are going to happen.”

There is another person that Cyborg has had a bad relationship with and that is the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion in Ronda Rousey.

Following her battle at UFC 214, the Brazilian wouldn’t mind talking with her longtime rival and put the past behind them.

“We can talk, I never met her before,” Cyborg said. “But I think she did great things for women’s MMA. She said a lot of things about me, but I think she used that time for growing her. I think she used it like a business. I think it’s nothing personal, because I never met her. We don’t know each other. Nothing. I don’t have anything against her.”

UFC 214 takes place on Saturday, July 29 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
