George Lockhart isn't speaking out about Cris Cyborg's recent criticism of him.
It was revealed today that Cris Cyborg will no longer be using acclaimed nutritionist George Lockhart, and that Cyborg has turned down two fights at 145 pounds in the UFC. Lockhart was asked about the situation, and seemed speechless.
"It sucks. It really does," Lockhart told MMA Fighting. "You know me, I'm private with my people. I'm just not going to bad talk anybody. "She's like my little sister. We've been together for two and a half years. We lived together. So I have no ill will towards her. But yeah, it's surprising. It sucks."
Lockhart refused to elaborate on the sitaution. Cyborg spoke to Fightful.com in September about the disagreements between herself and Lockhart, stemming from him encouraging her to use birth control to aid her weight cut.
"Everything?s ok but I don?t agree," Cyborg exclaimed. "I don?t agree but everything again when we started camp but I don?t agree. But we are a team and he?s apart of the family. We just had a conversation, and he extended his point and let it go and I think we have to keep going."
