Dan Hooker & Paul Felder Were Hospitalized After UFC Fight Night Auckland

Dan Hooker and Paul Felder collided in the main event of UFC Fight Night Auckland, with Hooker scoring a split decision victory on that night.

However, while both fighters picked up $50,000 bonuses for “Fight Of The Night,” both were also picked up by ambulances and taken to a local hospital after the event.

As he was being wheeled to the ambulance he looked at me and said “the tradition stands, win or lose I go the the hospital”... that summarizes how he fights... people backstage heard him saying this and gave him a standing ovation as he was being loaded. Everyone knows who won this fight. @felderpaul is an absolute animal and a gentleman. Extremely proud of this guy. #irishdragon #represented

There is no word yet as to why both fighters were transported to the hospital or the nature of the injuries suffered by both competitors.
