Dana White On Michael Chandler: "I Like The Kid"

Former multi-time Bellator lightweight champion Michael Chandler is currently a free agent and Dana White is interested in bringing him to the UFC.

White confirms that the promotion has talked with Chandler about joining it and White seems to like the former lightweight champion. Aaron Bronsteter of TSN reported the following on Twitter about the UFC?s talks with Chandler:

Chandler has spent nearly a decade competing in Bellator with his last non-Bellator appearance coming at Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery in September of 2010, where Chandler defeated Salvador Woods by first-round submission. Bellator President Scott Coker says the promotion has the opportunity to match any offers made to Chandler from other MMA promotions. No word has been given yet as to whether or not the UFC made an offer to Chandler.
