Dana White Names Three UFC Fights He Believes Didn’t Deliver

MMA

UFC President Dana White has been at the helm of the UFC for over two decades now and thousands upon thousands of fights have happened in the promotion during that time span.

A fan recently asked White during a Reddit AMA about fights that White believes didn’t deliver upon the hype, which White gave the following response (via Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie):

UFC superstars who love soccer and their favourite clubs

“What fight do you believe was on your highest expectations but ultimately the biggest let down,” White was asked.

“Yoel vs. Israel, Lewis vs. Francis and Woodley vs. Wonderboy,” White responded.

The three fights mentioned by White happened at UFC 248 (Yoel Romero vs. Israel Adesanya), UFC 226 (Derrick Lewis vs. Francis Ngannou) and UFC 209 (Tyron Woodley vs. Stephen Thompson II). Two of the bouts White mentioned were title fights, while Lewis vs. Ngannou was a main card bout at UFC 226.

With White not planning on leaving the UFC anytime soon, it will leave fighters plenty of chances to let down the UFC President with their efforts for a long time to come.
