Dana White Reveals Favorite UFC KO Of All Time

MMA

The UFC has run over four hundred events in the two-plus decades of the promotion’s existence and plenty of all-time great knockouts have filled those cards.

UFC President Dana White has been around the promotion throughout the majority of its existence and has been around for a lot of those great knockouts.

White was recently asked what his favorite UFC knockout of all time is and White responded with a historical flying knee KO from UFC 235.

“Hmmm,” White wrote during a Reddit AMA (via Nolan King of MMA Junkie). “When I give you this answer everyone is going to think it’s because I don’t like Ben Askren. And it’s just not true at all. I do like Ben. But it’s hard not to pick Masvidal vs Askren.”

Jorge Masvidal’s knockout over Ben Askren was historical for a few reasons, including that it was the fastest knockout finish in UFC history and it was also Askren’s first loss as a professional MMA fighter.

Masvidal has since gone on to win the BMF Championship from Nate Diaz at UFC 244, while Askren has gone on to retiring from professional MMA competition after a loss to Demian Maia at UFC Fight Night Singapore.
