The card has been finalized for Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contenders Series Episode 6 and in the main event, it is going to be Charles Byrd taking on Gabriel Checco.
Byrd (8-4-0) competed on the first episode of DWTNCS and he defeated Jamie Pickett by first round submission. Byrd also competed in the Legacy Fighting Championships, earning victories over Mike Jasper, Evan Thompson and Quentin Henry. Byrd has only seen two of his twelve professional MMA fights go the distance and he won both of those encounters.
Checco (10-2-0) enters the fight riding a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Mike Jasper and Adam Stroup. Checco has previously challenged for the Resurrection Fighting Alliance Middleweight Title, losing to Francisco France at RFA 25. Checco is also competing for the first time in almost a year. His last bout at RFA 43 came in September of 2016.
Other fights on the card include Grant Dawson versus Adrian Diaz, Cameron Olson versus Karl Reed, Jamie Alvarez versus Martin Day and Jamie Colleen faces Tiffany Masters.
