When Conor McGregor does return to the Octagon, it won't be against Michael Chandler.
UFC President Dana White told Robbie Fox of Barstool that Conor McGregor won't fight Michael Chandler when McGregor is ready to return to action.
According to Dana, Chandler said he was done waiting and wanted to fight.
It was later clarified that Chandler would fight at UFC 309 in November, and that he could face Conor depending on how the fight goes. Conor won't fight in 2024.
It is unknown when McGregor will fight again. He was scheduled to fight Chandler at UFC 303 on June 29, but the fight was canceled on June 13th after McGregor suffered a broken toe.
