Dana White Says Georges St. Pierre Likes Calling Out Fighters, But Not Fighting

MMA

Former two division UFC champion Georges St. Pierre hasn?t been seen in action since defeating Michael Bisping to win the middleweight title at UFC 217.

GSP has called out fighters since that event, but that?s as far as GSP will go according to UFC President Dana White.

?I don?t think Georges St-Pierre is looking to fight right now,? White told MMA Junkie. ?You?ll hear him go out and do interviews: ?I?ll fight Conor? and stuff like that. But that?s not realistic. I think if Georges sees a fight that he likes, he?ll call it out, but he?s not looking to dive back in there anytime soon.?

St. Pierre took four years off in between his two most recent fights, so there is no telling when the fighter will return to action.

White is hesitant to give GSP a potential title shot upon potentially returning to action, especially since GSP has relinquished two UFC belts in the past.

?The reality is this: The guy won the 170-pound championship, never lost it, gave it up,? White said. ?Won the 185-pound championship, gave it up. I?m not going to have him come in to fight at 155 to give it up and not defend it. No.?

The fighter isn?t actually ranked at welterweight or middleweight right now, which are the two weight classes he dominated as a two division champion.
